Multiple food sensitivities symptoms - what it might look like
It took me five and a half years to get a diagnosis of multiple food sensitivities. I went to my GP repeatedly and saw rheumatologists, psychologists but nobody could make sense of my list of symptoms. They seemed unrelated and many of them not obviously related to digestive isuses.
I'm sharing them here in the hope that it might help somene with similar symptoms and no answers.
Bloating
Nausea
Diarrhoea (sporadic)
Stomach aches
Belching
Sore eyes
Vision disturbances
Insomnia
Headaches
Mouth ulcers
Urticaria
Exhaustion
Inner nervousness
Swollen lymph glands
Night sweats
Wandering aches all over my body, particularly my back, arms and legs
Dizziness
Brain fog
Eventually, an allergy specialist diagnosed me with multiple food sensitivities; you can read more about that journey here: Food sensitivities: from undiagnosed to finding balance.
In my case, all of these symptoms improved once my microbiome and leaky gut healed. They disappeared slowly, not immediately, and there were many ups and downs. If you suffer from any of these symptoms, it doesn't mean you necessarily have the same condition. But I wanted to share my experience, because I wish I had come across this sooner.
I've created a system that supports both the practical side and the emotional side of figuring this out.
